Our therapy concept : Ketamine - Psychotherapy - Neurostimulation

Ketamine is increasingly being used to treat depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and addiction. In combination with psychotherapy, the effect can be improved in many cases and a long-term effect can be achieved. There are various possible combinations and procedures: psychodynamic, behavioural, hypnotherapeutic and in combination with EMDR. Brain stimulation methods such as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and neurofeedback are evidence-based therapy methods that are rarely used despite their sometimes high efficiency. New technical improvements and miniaturisation have further facilitated their application and increased their efficiency.

The combination of psychotherapy and ketamine increases the effectiveness of treatment, as fewer sessions are required and more lasting results are achieved. Complementary methods such as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, and neurofeedback, whose effectiveness has been scientifically confirmed, remain limited to a few centers despite guideline recommendations.

Multimodal therapy combining these methods offers advantages for both patients and the healthcare system. A combination of ketamine, psychotherapy and brain stimulation procedures is proving to be extremely effective, but has rarely been offered to date. This conference aims to present the various procedures and their possible combinations. There will be specialist presentations as well as practical exercises and self-awareness sessions.

The international conference Ketamine – Psychotherapy – Brain Stimulation aims to bring these methods together, inform interested colleagues about the current state of research, and demonstrate practical applications.

Several internationally acclaimed specialists have already been recruited for this conference. There will be specialist lectures and exercises in small groups, including self-experience, using the methods described.

CME credits are being applied for from the State Medical Association of Hesse for the event. For more infos, please visit our website for physicians. For more info about our therapeutic methods, please visit our website psychosmatik.com or ketaminplus.com

The lectures will be held in German and English with simultaneous translation into the other language.
